On Sunday, August 31, 2025, Singat United Methodist Church came alive with celebration, marking its 19th Founding Anniversary. The air was filled with joy, music, and a palpable sense of anticipation as the congregation gathered under the theme “New Beginning”, inspired by Isaiah 43:19: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”

From the very start, the atmosphere was electric. Worshipers of all ages joined in heartfelt singing and praise, setting the tone for a service that would inspire and renew their spirits. The highlight of the celebration came with the message delivered by DS Rev. Augusto S. Rosario Jr., whose evangelistic preaching struck at the heart of what it means to embrace God’s work in our lives.

Rev. Rosario reminded the congregation that a new beginning is not just about turning a calendar page—it’s about perceiving God’s hand in every aspect of life and responding with faith and action. “God is always at work, even when we cannot see it,” he said, urging everyone to trust His timing and step boldly into the opportunities He creates. His words resonated deeply, leaving many feeling a renewed sense of purpose and commitment.
The anniversary also highlighted the remarkable growth of Singat UMC over the years. Under the passionate leadership of Rev. Reynan V. Sabala, the church has become a thriving, active congregation, known not only for its spiritual vitality but also for its spirit of service and community outreach.
The church council played a key role in making the celebration memorable. Their vibrant generosity and warm hospitality set an example for the congregation, encouraging every member to embody the same spirit in their daily lives. From organizing the program to welcoming guests, their efforts reflected the heart of a church dedicated to living out God’s love.

By the end of the service, there was a clear sense of momentum. This anniversary was more than a milestone—it was a call to action, a reminder that God’s work in Singat UMC is ongoing. The congregation left inspired, ready to embrace this new chapter with faith, unity, and a renewed commitment to serve both God and their community.
As the church continues to grow and flourish, one thing is certain: the story of Singat UMC is far from finished. With every year, every worship service, and every act of generosity, God is indeed doing a new thing—and the congregation is walking boldly into it.
