We Are Anchored: Anchored in Discipleship, Mission, and Service

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” — Hebrews 6:19

To say we are anchored is not just a statement—it is a declaration of identity.

Our world is constantly shifting. But we choose to be anchored—not in culture, not in preference, but in Christ.

We are anchored in discipleship.
This means we are not casual believers. We are committed to being formed by Jesus daily. Discipleship is not about knowing more—it is about becoming more like Christ. It calls for surrender, obedience, and a life continually shaped by His Word.

We are anchored in mission.
We refuse to live as spectators. The Church is not called to observe the world but to reach it. Every believer is sent. Mission is not a program of the church—it is the very identity of the Church. Wherever we are, Christ is made known through us.

We are anchored in service.
We do not gather simply to receive—we exist to give. A life anchored in Christ will always overflow in love, humility, and sacrifice. Service is not an optional expression of faith; it is its evidence.

We are anchored—firm, secure, and grounded in Christ.

And because we are anchored in Him, we can disciple faithfully, live missionally, and serve sacrificially.
