Dapdap UMC Brings Hope and Values to Dapdap Elementary School

August 8, 2025, Dapdap United Methodist Church – joyfully extended its ministry beyond the church walls by reaching out to the pupils of Dapdap Elementary School. With hearts full of compassion and a deep sense of mission, our team visited the school to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with children from pre-elementary up to Grade 6. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the entire teaching force of Dapdap Elementary School, whose openness and cooperation made the day’s program fruitful and memorable.

Through songs, stories, and interactive activities, we sought to plant seeds of faith in the hearts of the young ones, believing that the message of Christ can shape their character, strengthen their values, and inspire hope for their future.Our ministry’s goal goes beyond proclaiming God’s plan of salvation—it also embraces the vision of nurturing personal and social transformation among children.

We are mindful of the growing concerns in our society, as reflected in many news reports about the rising violence and moral challenges faced by the younger generation. This reality strengthens our resolve to be proactive in guiding children towards lives rooted in love, peace, and righteousness.We stand united with the government’s aspiration not only to develop the youth academically, but also to instill in them good manners and right conduct, anchored in biblical principles. By integrating Christian values with moral instruction, we believe that our young learners can be empowered to become respectful, responsible, and compassionate citizens.

This outreach effort is just one of many steps we commit to taking as a church community to serve, inspire, and build up the next generation. As Dapdap UMC continues to partner with schools and the wider community, we trust that God will continue to open doors for ministry and touch the lives of children for His glory.
