November 7, 2025 | Central Luzon Philippines Annual Conference held a powerful Evangelistic Crusade at the Moncada Gym, Moncada, Tarlac. Drawing thousands of United Methodists from across the conference, the much-anticipated even, hosted by the North Central Luzon District (NCLD) through Moncada UMC, marked another milestone of unity, faith, and revival for the United Methodist Church.
The crusade became a strong testament to the collaboration of the five district superintendents, who worked hand in hand to bring the vision to life:
- Rev. Augusto S. Rosarios Jr. (Central Luzon District) – the Worship Leader of the event.
- Rev. Dr. Manuel B. Estioko Jr. (East Central Luzon District)
- Rev. Dr. Esrom S. Sales (North Central Luzon District)
- Rev. Abundio Sabado (West Central Luzon District)
- Rev. Noel Alfonzo (Northeast Central Luzon District)
Standing alongside them were devoted pastors, deaconesses, lay ministers, lay leaders, and church members, who actively contributed their time, service, and fellowship to make the crusade truly remarkable.
Cariño UMC set the ambiance of worship the powerful messages of contemporary songs. The choir on the other hand, ushered the powerful message of the Guest Speaker Bishop Leo A. Soriano (Ret.).
The event carried a heartfelt and timely theme:
“Pamilya Ko, Matatag na Metodista”
—a declaration emphasizing the strength of families rooted in Christian values and committed to Methodist faith.
The crusade’s spiritual highlight came through the powerful thought-provoking words that stirred the hearts and ignited reflection. The Bishop ask,
“Alam ba natin kung ano ang Metodista?”
From there, Bishop Soriano led the congregation on a journey back to the foundations of Methodism, particularly honoring the legacy of Susanna Wesley, the mother of Methodism’s founder, John Wesley. He emphasized her unwavering faith, discipline, and spiritual devotion—traits that strengthened the Wesley household and ultimately shaped an entire movement.
The message encouraged every Methodist family to walk in the same steadfast conviction, nurturing homes built on prayer, faith formation, and commitment to God’s mission.
Then the Bishop Soriano proceeded. giving emphases about our Wesleyan identity – the grace of God that saves: prevenient, justifying, and sanctifying – that move us toward our perfection. Perfecting in love, according to Bishop Soriano, is a journey. He added, “our sanctification demands a response… that is to Love God and our neighbor.”
A powerful altar call by Rev. Wilson Vinluan invited the congregation with this words; ” Tonight…Salvation is here… Reconcilliation is here…. Healing is here…” with his simple prayer “Lord, do it again! And indeed many have responded.
Following that altar call is ghe heartwarming words from Bishop Rodel M. Acdal. Few words that encourages saying, Huwag nating hayaang mamatay ang apoy ng pag-ibig sa Diyos, apoy ng pagkakaisa, at apoy ng paglilingkod. He then expressed his heartfelt appreciation, affirming the very inspiring preaching of Bishop Soriano and commending the collective effort of all districts in staging such a spiritually enriching event.
A Night of Revival, Unity, and Identity
The crusade was more than a gathering—it was a renewal of identity. It reminded every attendee of the roots and responsibility of being Methodist, and more importantly, of being part of a strong family anchored in faith.
As the night concluded, it was evident that the spirit of revival burned brightly among the people. The cooperation of the five districts showcased a powerful model of unity, while the message delivered inspired families to stand firm in faith despite the challenges of the modern world.
Indeed, the Central Luzon Evangelistic Crusade 2025 will be remembered not only for its scale but for the spiritual mark it has left in the hearts of many. With strengthened faith, renewed purpose, and united fellowship, the Methodist community moves forward—matatag, nagkakaisa, at tunay na Metodista.
