August 24, 2025 | Nancamarinan United Methodist Church The CLD/NCLD UMYAF 1st Council Meeting was successfully held on August 24, 2025, at Nancamarinan United Methodist Church.
The event began with an uplifting Opening Worship led by Rev. Arnold Pascua, setting the tone for a meaningful and Spirit-filled gathering.
Business Session
After worship, the Business Session commenced. Reports on past accomplished projects were presented, and future plans were discussed for both local churches and district officers of the UMYAF.The meeting was attended by representatives from fourteen local churches: Nipaco, Sta. Lucia, Sulipa, Colibangbang, Dicolor, Malayep, Rang-Ayan, Gerona, Dapdap, Dapdap (Patalan), Pance, Nancamarinan, Cayanga, and Cariño.
Leadership Matters
During the session, Rev. Dante C. Garibay raised the matter of leadership transition, asking UMYAF Execom President Ms. Arriane Fernando if the team is ready to fill in vacant positions as the two districts prepare to function independently after this year.Some promising candidates were identified and will soon convene with their respective districts to finalize roles and responsibilities in preparation for the next term of service.ClosingThe meeting concluded with a closing prayer led by District Superintendent Rev. Augusto Rosario Jr., leaving the participants inspired and hopeful for the future of UMYAF in both CLD and NCLD districts.
