On July 20, 2025, young hearts gathered, faith ignited, and spirits were uplifted as the United Methodist Youth Fellowship took place under the guiding theme of “Grow in Grace and in the Knowledge of the Lord” (2 Peter 3:18).
With hearts full of gratitude and praise, Malayep United Methodist Church, led by Rev. Reynan V. Sabala, celebrated its 20th Founding Anniversary on July 20, 2025. The joyous milestone carried the deeply meaningful theme, “New Beginnings,” grounded in Ezekiel 36:26, which declares: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
Lifestyle evangelism represents a transformative approach to sharing one’s faith, diverging from conventional methods that often rely heavily on verbal communication and scripted presentations. Instead, it embodies the principles of embodying Christian beliefs through daily actions and decisions, reflecting Christ’s love in a practical and relatable manner.
This division is not simply a difference of opinion—it challenges us at a deeper level to rethink how we relate to one another and work together. In moments like these, it can be tempting to withdraw or align only with those who think alike, but the true test of our community is whether we can rise above division and come together in ways that are deeper, more meaningful, and more inclusive.
