On January 30, 2026, the Central Luzon District (CLD) celebrated its 20th founding anniversary through a meaningful Revival Night and Evangelistic Crusade held at the Brgy. Sembrano Covered Court in Gerona, Tarlac. The gathering brought together pastors, lay leaders, and members from different local churches, friends, and visitors, to give thanks, remember God’s faithfulness, and be renewed in faith.

The program opened with a colorful and inspiring parade of banners participated in by the 22 local churches of the district. The sight of banners raised high was a strong reminder of unity in Christ. Notably, churches beyond the country were also represented, including Bologna, Italy UMC, and Israel First UMC, highlighting the wider reach of the district’s ministry.

Praise and worship filled the venue as the Tagumbao UMC PAW Team, together with the District PAW Team, led the congregation in joyful and reverent worship. This was followed by a beautiful doxology rendered by John Morris Asuncion, Deacon Leah Andaya, Deacon Jenyl Joy Sabala, and Bro. Victor Catabona, setting the solemn and thankful tone for the rest of the evening.
Warm greetings were shared by Brgy. Sembrano Captain Amir Pascua, CLD Lay Leader Victor Catabona, and District Superintendent Rev. Augusto S. Rosario Jr. Their messages expressed gratitude for the partnership between the church and the community and affirmed the importance of faith-driven service.

A meaningful reading of the Central Luzon District history was delivered by Rev. Rogemer Sison, reminding everyone of the humble beginnings, challenges, and victories that shaped the district over the past two decades. This moment stirred both gratitude and reflection among those present.
The Voice of Praise Choir, conducted by Deacon Leah Andaya, offered a beautiful choir piece that deeply moved the congregation. Soon after, Rev. Nazareno Dela Cruz formally introduced the revivalist of the night, Rev. Wilson G. Vinluan.

Rev. Vinluan delivered the revival and evangelistic message centered on Nehemiah 8:1–12. His message called the people back to the Word of God, emphasizing understanding of a reverent gesture of submission, repentance, and renewed joy in the Lord. Many were touched as the message encouraged both personal and collective revival.

A powerful moment followed as the CLD pastors prayed for all who came forward. During this time, Rev. Jayson sang “Dakilang Katapatan,” accompanied by Rev. Rogemer Sison, creating a reflective and prayerful atmosphere.

Rev. Vinluan also challenges the churches to plant a seed of faith for a new vehicle of the District. Many responded with this challenge, showing that the district is indeed leaning its faith towards the fulfillment of this new vision.
The evening concluded with a touching closing prayer led by DS Rev. Rosario and a benediction piece sung by the Voice of Praise Choir.

As a final blessing, 42 bags of 5-kilo premium rice were raffled to attendees, generously sponsored by the CLD Workers, bringing smiles and gratitude to many families.
The 20th founding anniversary Revival Night and Evangelistic Crusade was more than a celebration. It was a reminder of God’s faithfulness through the years and a call for the Central Luzon District to continue walking forward in unity, service, and renewed commitment to the mission.
