
January 4, 2026 marked a joyful and faith-filled beginning to the month-long celebration of the 20th Founding Anniversary of the Central Luzon District (CLD) of the .
The celebration officially opened with a vibrant motorcade parade, symbolizing unity, thanksgiving, and God’s faithfulness through two decades of ministry. Leading the motorcade was Rev. Nazareno Dela Cruz, Chairperson of CLD Connectional Ministries, together with pastors, leaders, and members from across the district.
A total of 19 local churches and 1 mission congregation enthusiastically participated, filling the streets with color, music, and a strong witness of faith. The motorcade traveled through all CLD UMC local churches in Gerona and Western Paniqui, allowing communities along the route to witness and join in the celebration.
The parade concluded at Brgy. Sembrano Barangay Hall, Gerona, Tarlac, the designated venue for the upcoming Revival and Evangelistic Crusade, which will be held on January 30, 2026. This culminating event is expected to gather believers and guests for a powerful time of worship, renewal, and proclamation of the Gospel.
Finally, DS Rev. Augusto S. Rosario Jr. blessed the participants and encouraged everyone to join and support the anniversary activities, particularly the Blood letting (Jan. 24), Pistang Kristyano ( Jan. 25), and Revival and Evabgelistic Crusade (Jan. 30).
As Central Luzon District celebrates its 20 years of God’s grace, this opening motorcade stands as a strong reminder of the district’s shared mission—to connect communities, strengthen churches, and continue proclaiming Christ with passion and purpose.
